Can other AI assistants connect?

Yes. Use a client that supports remote MCP connections and OAuth sign-in. Setup varies by client; Claude also offers Maven Bio in its connector directory.

Do I need a Maven Bio account?

Yes. You need an active account and access to the connector. Sign in through the OAuth flow when your client connects.

Can the connector edit documents in my other tools?

No. Maven’s MCP connector provides read-only access. Your assistant needs separate tools and permissions to edit files in other systems.
